Died at the parsonage of Third Avenue Methodist Church. His daughter was the wife the pastor - Louis E Barker - and William had been living with them for about a year and had been in ill health. "The survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Barker, Mrs. J P. Farrar of Glens Falls. Mrs. F. J. Stupasky of Utica and Mrs. Charles Young of Pennsylvania; two sons, Myron L and Howard F Schermerhorn of Glens Falls; two sisters, Mrs Elisabeth Archer and Mrs Ella Farrar, and a brother, George B. Schermerhorn, all of Glens Falls."
(Estimated birth is from the 1900 Census. Obituary says he was buried in Lake George. Two brothers are buried here and his father is buried in Caldwell. If you have exact cemetery, please leave me a note/edit.)
