He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert A. Banker of Union Springs, Cayuga County, after a short illness.
He was the son of Jacob F. and Fanny Volz Pross, and had resided in Gloversville for the last 50 years. Prior to that time, he was a Dolgeville resident.
He was a World War I veteran.
Survivors in addition to his daughter, include his wife, the former Adelia Visscher; a son, Lester F. Pross of Berea, Ky.; seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
