Dixie Rogers, 87, died on May 5, 2016 in Des Moines, Iowa where she lived her entire life. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1946 and pursued a career in accounting.

Dixie is survived by the greatest joys in her life, her grandchildren, Casey Hanley and Jon Hanley. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Kimberly Rogers Hanley.

Dixie's kind and tenacious spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorial services will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 8, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Des Moines.
