BOBBIE D FISHER of Merritt Island, FL - he was the son of Lawrence anfd Margaret Fisher. He was a retired, U.S. Air Force veteran, started out in the B-17 and became a Cold War pilot in the B-47 circling the globe for the Strategic Air Command, his tour of duty in Vietnam put him in a C-135 cargo plane flying supplies into remote and besieged US Troops. After retirement, he was an instructor for Flight Safety before becoming a Pad Safety Manager at Cape Kennedy. Bobbie was a 32nd degree Mason and longtime member of Azan Temple of Shriners as well as the Lions Club. He died on the 30th wedding anniversary to his wife Glenda. Surviving are his wife Glenda; children, Gail, Jimmy, Risa, Vicki, Deanna and Christopher; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held May 7, 2016 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens. Florida Memorial Funeral Home in Rockledge, FL is serving the family.
