December 20, 1934 - May 2, 2016

Maggie Taylor, age 81, of Middletown, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born December 20, 1934 in Frenchburg, KY to George and Hattie (Coldiron) Vititoe. She worked in the printing office of Middletown Regional Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1992. She was a volunteer for hospice and the Madison life Squad. Maggie was a 60 year member of Mercy Point Church of God, the former Rufus Street Church of God. Maggie is survived by her daughters, Gwen (George) Krasula of Middletown, Rita Gasaway of Franklin, Sue (Stan) Brashear of Trenton; sons, Randy (Zona) Taylor, Tim (Susie) Scott both of Middletown; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Ester Alsept of Dayton, Connie (Bob) Ballard of KY, Rosetta (Newell) Dyer of Middletown; Bill (Sue) Vititoe and survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel Taylor; grandsons, Sammy and Kenny Gasaway; granddaughter, Deanna Scott; sisters, Alpha Scott, Dorothy Lewis; brothers, John and Don Vititoe. Visitation will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Marshall officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemete
