N. Joyce Boyer, 68, of North Apollo died at 10:50 p.m. Saturday (March 23, 2002) in West Haven Nursing Home, Washington Township, where she was a patient for a month.
Born April 3, 1933, in Pittsburgh, she lived in North Apollo most of her life.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Vandergrift.
She enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Robert B. Boyer; a son, Phillip Jay Boyer of Baltimore; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Watson.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at GERALD J. MEDICE FUNERAL HOME, North Apollo. Officiating will be the Rev. Terri Swails. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
