Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was known as Maw Maw to all her grandkids. She enjoyed a life filled with lots of love and laughter. She spent many summers with family on Lake Sam Rayburn and many Octobers in the squirrel woods on the bayou. She was a second mother to all her nieces and nephews and many others. She enjoyed cooking for her family and always had plenty for company. Her favorite pastime was going to the boats, whether it be on the lake or in Shreveport.
She is survived by her son, J.D. and wife Tish; daughter, Renee Wall and husband Jerry; daughter Sissy and husband David Harvey; grandchildren, Jerry and Holly Wall, Wesley Wall and wife Kaydee, William Taylor, Shelby Taylor, Megan Dixson, Derek Burns, Kinley Burns, Jaysa Witter, and Daylon Witter; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Larry Stephens and wife Mary; brother Wade Stephens and Evelyn; sisters, Brenda Nichols, Benita Buzek, Shirley Hubacek and husband Frankie.
Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her husband James O. Burns; father, Tommie Lee Stephens; mother, Mattie Estelle Stephens; and brother, Kenneth Wayne Stephens.
