TEXLINE - Don Qualls, 73, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, in Dalhart.

Services will be at 2 p.m. CST today in Texline United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Phillips, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Clayton, N.M., officiating. Burial will be in Texline Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Mr. Qualls was born Oct. 14, 1933, in Fieldton to Carr and Imogene Perry Qualls. He married Jo Ann Nix Qualls on Dec. 27, 1952, in Clovis, N.M.

Survivors include his wife of Dalhart; two daughters, Cheryl Perschbacher of Clayton and Cierra McQuown of Burbank, Calif.; two sons, Shon Qualls of Lubbock and Carr Qualls of Valley Center, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Texline United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 67, Texline, TX 79087 or the Texline Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 411, Texline, TX 79087.
