Passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Wellspring Lutheran Services Frankenmuth; age 94 years. Irma was born on July 24, 1921 in Frankenmuth, MI to the late Fred H. and Agnes (Schellhas) Bunjes. She was a patent translator for the legal department of Dow Corning Company. Irma was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and a member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews. Irma was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. Rev. Mark D. Brandt will officiate with burial in St. Lorenz Lutheran Cemetery. Irma’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.
