Joseph A. Monroe, age 33, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.
Joseph was born in 1982 in Rochester, MN. He grew up in Grand Rapids, then graduated from Dubenoff High School in North Hollywood, CA. Joseph moved back to Grand Rapids 2-1/2 years ago. He was employed at Bender Shoes in Grand Rapids. Joseph was a member of the Kiesler House where he had many friends and wrote in the newsletter. He loved movies and anything related to them. He also enjoyed video games, fishing and poetry.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Candice Monroe; sister, Melanie Monroe; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Burial in Itasca-Calvary Cemetery.
