Mr. James Haldor Primm, age 76, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Haldor was born on October 6, 1939 in Columbia, Tennessee to Sam S. Primm and Loraine Hutchenson Primm. He was served honorably as a veteran of the Tennessee Air National Guard. After thirty years of service, he was retired from Monsanto Corporation. He was the husband of Jackie Com pton Primm, whom he married on October 8, 1988. They served the Lord together as members of West End Baptist Church. One of Haldor’s favorite passions was car racing. In fact he was the past owner of Thunder Hill Raceway in Summertown, Tennessee.

Funeral services for James will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Bro. Rick Elsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Santa Fe Cemetery with military honors being provided by the American Legion Herbert Griffin Post 19. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, May 5, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.

Mr. Primm’s family will serve as pallbearers. Past and present members of West End Baptist Church as well as retirees of Monsanto will serve as honorary pallbearers.
