Harold Lee Bivins, 70, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Friday, May 6, 2016 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert McCoy, Rev. Wayne Goff and Mr. Stacey Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Bobby Johnson, Bennie Bullard, Bo Monk, Franklin Oxley, Jason Oxley and Kristopher Bivins.

Born in Norman Park, he was the son of the late Dover Sea Bivins and Rosa Lee Barber Bivins. Mr. Bivins was a 1964 Moultrie High School graduate and worked as a welding supervisor at Moultrie Manufacturing for more than 30 years before retiring. Since retirement, he spent several years as a driver for Robert Hutson Motors and was a member of Autreyville Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Randall Bivins and Dick Bivins; two sisters, Caroline Ross and Opal Bowles.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Iris Bivins of Moultrie; two children, Kelly Oxley and husband Franklin, Keven Bivins and wife Selina all of Moultrie; two step-daughters, Carol Monk and husband Bo of Sylvester, Betty Brown and husband Tommy of Lexington, SC; three grandchildren, Jason Oxley, Lyndsay Oxley and Kristopher Bivins; a brother, Gary Bivins of Moultrie; a sister, Phyllis Scott Wood and husband Bob of Ohio.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM- 8:00PM Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
