She was a bartender at the Goldsboro Firemen's Club, Goldsboro; she loved butterflies, traveling, music and being artistic. She lived her life freely and to the fullest. She was a very caring and compassionate person. Her beautiful smile and lust for fun will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jennifer was born in Harrisburg on March 17, 1977, to Kenneth L. Barr of Camp Hill, and Brenda K. (Swope) Kleckner of Rutherford Heights, Harrisburg. She was preceded in death by her aunts, Joann Theurer and Dianna Nye, and her grandmother, Julia Swope.
In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by her son, Charles R. "Chas" Stevens; a sister, who was her best friend, Melissa H. Kriner of Clearlake, CA; a step father, "Big" Ed Kleckner of Rutherford Heights, Harrisburg; her paternal grandmother, Anna M. Barr of Harrisburg; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Eva O'Diam officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to her son, Charles's education fund, c/o New Cumberland Federal Credit Union, 345 Lewisberry Road, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
