C. Bradley Rhodes, 78, of Lemoyne, died Wednesday in Holy Spirit Hospital.
He was a graduate of the former Lemoyne High School, Class of 1945; was a World War II Navy Veteran, serving in the Pacific Theatre aboard the U.S.S. Ticonderoga and the U.S.S. Lexington; retired after 34 years with PPL, where he was a systems operator in Montoursville; was a 50 year member of Grace United Methodist Church, Lemoyne; West Shore F&AM Lodge 681; Harrisburg Consistory; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest #43, Harrisburg; The Travelers Protective Association of America; Montoursville American Legion Post 0104; and Black Forest Fire Company, Potter County.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Young Rhodes; one son, David B. Rhodes and wife, Jetta of Mechanicsburg; one daughter, Dawn McCallus and husband, Hal of Tarpon Springs, FL; five grandchildren, Sherie Haugh and husband, Tim, Christopher McCallus and wife, Carrie, Brent McCallus, Tara Solano and husband, Mark, and Dava Campbell; four great-grand-children, Michael and Chandler Haugh, Jata Campbell and Elijah McCallus; one brother, Edwin Rhodes of Harrisburg; an aunt, Grace Rabenstine of Hershey and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Musselman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Lemoyne, with the Rev. Byron K. Krapf officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park. Viewing will be one hour prior to services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 309 Herman Avenue, Lemoyne, PA 17043 or to a favorite charity.
