Ruby Burton was born January 25, 1925 in Hugo, OK, the daughter of W.T. Barnes and Nancy Ellen (Jones) Barnes and had lived all of her life in Hugo. Her parents preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James D. Burton (October 9, 1996). Ruby worked at Wells Lamont Glove Factory in Hugo for over 30 years. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
