Margaret "Peggy" Leininger passed away on May 2, 2016. She was born to William Corbin and Margaret Marie O'Bryan in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She grew up in Tishomingo, OK. She married Dan Henry Leininger on July 23, 1960. He preceded her in death in 1968. She was proud to serve her Great State of Oklahoma from 1969 until her retirement in 2011 as an administrative assistant to several Legislators. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie Pogson and her husband, Bryson Pogson and their two children, Brayden and Amber; her son Michael William Leininger; two brothers: Bill O'Bryan and his wife Edie "Suzy" O'Bryan and John O'Bryan.After retirement she enjoyed painting and volunteering at her church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 25 years. She also spent time with the loves of her life, her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who called her "Mom" and "Granny P". We love you Mom!
Services are Monday, May 9, 2016, at 2 pm at St. John's Episcopal Church located on 5401 N. Brookline. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. John's Episcopal "Godly Play Center", where she spent many hours loving and teaching small hearts.
