Billy Floyd McClung, 89, of Horseshoe Bay, went to heaven on March 23, 2016.
He was born to the late Alvis Davis and Sally Maude McClung, September 23, 1926 in Bridgeport, Texas. He married Jackie Jean Frost in June 1946, and lived in the Dallas area before making their permanent residence in Horseshoe Bay in 2000.
Bill started out as a Braniff Airlines mechanic, worked for Thomas A. Edison, Inc. before establishing his own engineering firm, which he operated for 50 years. He was an avid golfer. He loved to travel and play golf. He was also a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. One of his greatest joys was having his family together.
Bill is preceded in death by his daughter Deborah McClung. He is survived by his wife, Jackie, and three children: Judy and John Tepper, of Carrollton, TX: Mike and Kim McClung, of Marble Falls, TX; and Michelle and Thom Fairleigh, of Horseshoe Bay, TX. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great – grandchildren.
