1.) RYAN WAYNE GOODMAN
Ryan Wayne Goodman was born June 14, 1978, in Des Moines, Iowa, and died Sunday, March 28, 1993, in Lamoni, Iowa, of a gunshot wound. The death was ruled accidental.

Ryan is survived by his parents Marnie and Larry Rivers, sister Bethanie; grandparents Sam and Margaret Landis, and his great aunt Kathryn Condit, all of Lamoni, Iowa. Also surviving are his grandparents Audrey Cheatom and Charles Rivers; his great-grandmother Wilma Harris; his aunt and uncle Bill and Suzy Landis and Charles Rivers, all of Des Moines, Iowa; aunt Sammie Landis of Sac City, Iowa, and aunt Linda Edwards of Omaha, Nebraska.

He attended Lamoni Middle School. His interests included camping, sports, drawing, church youth activities, rollerblading, fishing, animals, and traveling with his grandparents.

Ryan was a member of the Lamoni RLDS Church, Lamoni 4-H Club, and Solid Rock Club. Ryan loved life and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed by all of his friends and family.

He was laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery, Lamoni, Iowa. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 1993, at the Lamoni RLDS Church in Lamoni, Iowa, with Elder Richard Hawk and Elder Ranny Mann officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Lamoni, Iowa. Arrangements were made through the Slade - O'Donnell Funeral Home of Leon and Lamoni, Iowa.

2.) Ryan W. Goodman, 14, son of Larry and Marnie Rivers of Lamoni, died of a gunshot wound Sunday at a friend's home in Lamoni. The death was ruled accidental.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lamoni Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery there.

Ryan was born in Des Moines and moved to Lamoni four years ago. He was a student and a member of Lamoni 4-11 and the Solid Rock church youth group.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Bethanie Goodman of Lamoni; his grandparents, Sam and Margaret Landis of Lamoni, and Audrey Cheatom and Charles Rivers, both of Des Moines; and his great-grandmother, Wilma Harris of Des Moines.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m.
