Jonas Westberg of 887 E Brooks St died shortly before noon today at his home. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Kimber and West Chapel.

Funeral services for Jonas Westberg, 64, of RFD 2, Oneida, who died Monday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Lester, 887 E Brooks St, will be held Wednesday at 3:30 PM in the Kimber and West Chapel.
The Rev. MW DeWitt, pastor of the church of the Open Bible, will officiate at the rites. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel this evening.
Born in Gaddvik, Sweden, April 4, 1889, Mr. Westberg had resided in Galesburg 33 years. When he first came to the United States, he lived in Chicago for a year. He also lived at various periods of time at Woodhull, Cambridge and Ophiem.
Mr. Westberg was married to Christina Strom in Chicago May 7, 1914. He received his education in Sweden and served in the Swedish Army three years. His hobby was hunting. Mr. Westberg was a member of the Church of the Open Bible.
Besides his wife and Mrs. Lester, he is survived by the following sons and other daughters: Everett J and Robert F Westberg, Mrs. James R Johnson, Mrs. Robert L Carroll and Miss Betty J Westberg, all of Galesburg.
He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Dan Traner, Lynn, MA, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted today at 3:30 PM in the Kimber and West Chapel for Jonas Westberg, 64, of Oneida RFD 2, who died Monday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. and Mrs. Wilbert Lester, 887 E Brooks St.
The Rev. MW DeWitt, pastor of the First Church of the Open Bible, officiated. Songs were by Glen Carroll, with Mrs. Harry Neave as organist. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Cleo Olson, Carl Nystrom, Hanford Pierce, Herman Anderson, Elmer Bloomgren and Henry Chapman.
