Obituary for Carol Garland
Carol Ann Garland, age 77, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late O. C. and Nell Boone Hale. She attended Trinity Assembly of God and was a very strong, spirit-filled Christian lady. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Garland; sister, Bonnie June Price.

Carol has left behind to cherish her memories: Son; Randy Garland and wife Vicki, of Erwin; Daughters; Natalie Artrip, of Erwin, Carol Gae Bailey and husband Stacy, of Johnson City; Grandchildren; Jamie Rice and husband Matthew, of Erwin, Lindsey Street and husband Luke, of Erwin, Ashley Artrip, of Erwin, Ryan McInturff and wife Brittany, of Johnson City; Great-Grandchildren; Nila Rice, Henry Rice, Anna Street; Nephews; Edward and Charles Price; Sister-In-Law; Annette Byrd and husband Jack; Several beloved cousins

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Carol Garland in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Ed Jeffries and Reverend Kenny Jeffries will officiate. A visitation period to share memoires and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until service time on Wednesday at Valley Funeral Home. A committal service will be held at 1:45 PM, Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Those who wish to attend will meet at Mountain Home National Cemetery by 1:35 PM.
