Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4th at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield Chapel for Anna Ruth Elliott, 87 of Hilliard, Ohio, formerly of Canfield who died early Saturday morning at her residence. Anna Ruth, known to many as "Ruth" was born August 29, 1928 in Franklin Square, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Bessie Bradfield Circle. Ruth graduated from Salem High School in 1948, and had lived in Canfield until moving to Hilliard in 2002. Ruth had been the head cook for the Canfield Schools for 38 years, retiring in 1999 and a former member of Canfield United Methodist Church. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and family was very important to her. Her first husband, James Wolboldt, whom she married June 10, 1949, died March 7, 1961. Her second husband, Arnold Nelson Elliott whom she married November 6, 1976, died March of 1977. Ruth leaves her three daughters, Nancy Johnson of Hilliard, Patricia (Kirk) Tremayne of Canfield, Beverly (Gregory) Couch of Columbus; six grandchildren, Rebecca Wiant, Jennifer (Jim) Tremayne, Jessica (Nate) Tremayne-Farkas, Erin (David) Josepho, Matthew Roh, James Roh; three step-grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth and Taylor and five great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husbands, Ruth was preceded in death by four siblings and a son-in-law, Joshua Johnson.
