William P. (Wild Bill) Pell, age 84 of Centreville, and formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at his home. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on May 15, 1929, the fifth of seven children of Claude and Helen (Godfrey) Pell. At age 20 he married Ellen Bylsma, she preceded him in death in 1972. He later married Carolyn Gustafson and they have enjoyed over 40 years of marriage. Bill had enjoyed reading and photography, and had an eye for lighting and composition. He also had a love for the Scriptures and knew them well.
Surviving Bill are his wife, 4 daughters, a son , sister, 2 brothers, 2 brother in laws an sister in law, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Ellen, brothers Robert Pell, Phillip Pell, sister Betsy Sherd, brother in law Harold Jacobs and sister in law Doreen Pell.
