Surviving Mrs. Bowman are her husband, Jay Bowman of the home; daughter, Betsy Williams of South Hill, Va.; son, Tom Sumner of Greensboro; sister, Cat Bottoms of South Hill, Va.; half-sister, Lou Barberi of Waterford, Conn.; half-brother, William Cleary of South Hill, Va.; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
