Bill is survived by his wife, Christine (McNicholas), to whom he was married to for 24 years; his children, Michelle (Patrick) Williams, Kerry and Kathleen; his granddaughters, Julianna and Elizabeth Williams; his parents, Billy Gilbert and Vida Crump; his sister, Gloria (Harvey) Schiller; and his brothers, Raymond (Lynne), Edward (Sharon) and Robert (Renee); and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was born on May 1, 1953, in Youngstown. He graduated from Ursuline High School and attended Youngstown State University and Case Western Reserve University. He also proudly served in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam era for six years. He was an incredibly hard-working man who worked at LTV Steel as an electrical engineer for many years, to provide as a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and listening to classic rock. Most of all, though, he enjoyed being an amazing father and grandfather. He very much enjoyed spending time with his girls, whether it was camping, going to Indians games, fishing, gardening, or just watching movies and doing puzzles together.
Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
