Edward G. Fry is the son of Joseph W. Fry & Elizabeth Jared. Edward's mother died when he was about 6, and he and his siblings went to live with various other families. I have not been able to find where Edward went before he joined the Civil War in 1861. He enlisted in the war twice, 1st in 29th Infantry, Co. E and after being discharged for disability in 1862, he later enrolled in 1863 in 124th Infantry, Co.D
Edward married Bedial Roach and had 3 children Emma, Hattie & Edward N.
A widow's pension was requested in 1895, so he must have died around then.
