Tyler J. Stephens was born May 29, 1998. Tyler passed on to eternal life on April 29, 2016. He is preceded in death by Bertie Lee Stephens and J.D. Stephens, his paternal grandparents; Rachel May Shaw, his maternal grandmother; and Ricky Shaw, his maternal Uncle. He is survived by his Father, Mark Allen Stephens of Bowling Green; his Mother Lisa Sheree Shaw Stephens of Franklin; his older sister Brittni Leann Stephens; his older Brother, Matthew Alexander Stephens also of Bowling Green; and Luard Shaw of Tompkinsville, maternal grandfather, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tyler was a Senior at Warren East High School. Tyler was an incredible light in this world for those who knew him. He was always smiling and loved to make those around him smile as well. He lived life to the fullest, and made everyday a bright one. He loved to fish, play golf, and spend time with his family and friends. He is very deeply loved and he will be missed every moment of everyday for those who knew this precious young man.
Services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday May 4, 2016 at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial to follow Woodburn Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Tuesday will be from 3:00 until 9:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Tyler will be buried in Woodburn where he had some of his happiest moments and he will be close to the things he truly loved.
Arrangements have been entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
