Quinis Edward Richmond - age 87 of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. He was a 50 year member of First Baptist Church in Lenoir City and was a retired machinist with Union Carbide Y-12 Plant. Quinis was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Marine Corp. 2nd Air Wing. He was a member and Past-President of Local #480 I.A.M., Avery Lodge #593 F&AM, the Scottish and York Rites, and the Shriners.
Preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Virginia Jo Hartline Richmond; daughter, Patti Jo Richmond; parents, Bud and Pearl Richmond; brothers, Billy and Donnie Richmond; sister, Betty Thomas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, O.R. and Willie Hartine.
Survived by his sons, Johnny Richmond and daughter, Caroline; Michael Jay Richmond and wife, Stephanie; their daughters, Jacquelyn and Leah all of Lenoir City, along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Masonic services will be conducted by Avery Masonic Lodge. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m. Wednesday and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services at 1 p.m. with full military honors being conferred.
