Mr. Ricky Dewayne Wallace, of Yale, passed away at the young age of only 56 years 11 months and 21 days on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at home surrounded by family and friends.

Ricky Dewayne, the son of the late Francis and Tillie (Milton) Wallace, was born in Allen Park, Saturday, May 9, 1959.

On May 2, 2015, “Rick” proposed to June Ryan, his longtime friend whom he loved with every fiber of his soul. He was always concerned for her well-being and made sure, when he was gone, she would be surrounded by his love.

Rick loved rock music and enjoyed driving with Jimmy Hendrix in the CD player. He loved football, especially Michigan State University.

Rick enjoyed traveling. His last trip to Florida he became too ill to attend the festival, so a friend brought the festival to him: one of everything on the menu.

Rick enjoyed old cars. He loved spending time with family, and continued to call them daily when he was unable to visit.
