Walter Dean Bunnell, 79, passed away September 23, 2005 at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. One of twelve children born to Noah Forest and Ethel Belle (Hite) Bunnell. Walter was born January 11, 1926 in Marengo, Ohio. Walter proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years and there he learned his life trade of machinery. On August 14, 1954, Walter married Barbara Ann Goble and together they shared 51 wonderful years of marriage and raising their three children, Forest, Dean, and Faith. A skilled machinist, Walter worked numerous years for North American Aviation in Columbus, Ohio, Lampco Industries in El Cojan, California, and ATI Industries in Escondido, California. Walter's passion though was his calling to preach the Word of God. He was a self-supporting Gospel preacher for the Church of Christ for more than 54 years. He began his ministry in Ohio and his spiritual journey through life led him to also preach in West Virginia, Virginia, California, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Walter positively influenced many lives with his ministry and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will be lovingly cherished by his wife, Barbara Ann of the home; sons, Forest and Dean Bunnell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Faith Kirk of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a grandson, Michael Bunnell and his wife, Melody and their daughter, Mikayla Katherine Bunnell of Oklahoma City, OK; two granddaughters, Ashley Bunnell and Brytni Howard both of Oklahoma City, OK; his only living sibling, his brother, Glenn Otis Bunnell of Sarasota, FL.
