Mrs. Cora Wray, 88, Pleasant Park Manor of Oskaloosa, died Tuesday, Feb. 14. Born April 1, 1889, at Otley, she was the daughter of Mathew and Gertrude Schakel Van Gorp. She was the widow of Fred Wray. She was a Drake University graduate and taught school in Knoxville and Council Bluffs. Surviving are several nieces and nephews including Dwight and Lois Steen, Rt. 5, Oskaloosa; Mrs. Mable Kingdry, Knoxville, and Leonard and Betty Colyne, Adel. Funeral services were held in the Newman Funeral Chapel Friday Feb. 17 at 1:30 p.m. Burial was in the Forest Cemetery.
