Mrs. Boothroyd was employed at Loebs Department Store in downtown Lafayette many years ago. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Merou Grotto Auxiliary, and Lafayette Home Hospital Auxiliary. She was past president of Edgewood Club, past president of 20th Century Club, and past worthy matron of Hope Chapter 5, Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are a son, Robert L. Boothroyd of Lafayette; and a sister, Miss Marie Bender, also of Lafayette.
