Rodney E. Myers, 66, of Montezuma, died at 1:20 a.m. Sunday, May 1, 2016, in his residence. He retired this year with Human Resources at Futurex Industries with 43 years of service. He was born Feb. 21, 1950, in Rockville, to the late Roy C. Myers and Anna Allen Myers.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Debra Pearison Myers, whom he married Dec. 28, 1973, in Eugene, Ind.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy Jr., Alfred, William and John Myers; and one sister, Sue Meadows.
He was a 1968 graduate of Montezuma High School. He was a member of the Independent Baptist Church of Montezuma. He enjoyed fishing, golf, euchre and spending time with his grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Independent Baptist Church, 760 N. Jefferson St., Montezuma, with Pastors Keith McIntyre and Christopher Eckles officiating. Burial will follow in Wolf Creek Cemetery south of Wallace, Ind. Visitation is from noon until 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
