Herman E. Kidd, age 80, left this life for his eternal life on July 21, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret Kidd; daughter, Susan (Robert) Greco; brothers: William, Wayne and Thomas Kidd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents: William Herman and Grace Luella Kidd; and brothers: Charles and Irvin Kidd. Herman proudly served our Country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a past Master of the Masonic Roosevelt Lodge, where he was a 32nd Degree and was a Christian Service Brigade leader for 18 years. Herman was also a member of the National Campers and Hikers Association, Square Wheelers Camping Group and former member of the American Legion Post 20. He enjoyed doing craft work, camping and vacationing with his family. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN with Pastor Roy Richardson officiating. Interment, Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 2:00- 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
