GEORGE HOWARD PRESLEY, age 68, of Marshfield, formerly of Hingham, died on Friday, Dec. 24th at the Braintree Landing Nursing Center in Braintree after a long illness. Mr. Presley was born in Weymouth and was raised and educated in Hingham. He lived in Hingham for most of his life before moving to Marshfield over 20 years ago. He was a finish carpenter by profession and was a member of the South Shore Carpenters Union, Local # 424 for 35 years. He leaves his wife, Lorelle (D'Angelo) Presley of Marshfield, and was the father of Cherylan Cusack of Rockland, Brenda L. Presley of Dorchester, Dorothy Jean Presley, George H. Presley, and Kenneth S. Presley all of Quincy. He was the brother of Carol J. Scannell of Florida, Mary Lou Finneran of Tennessee, Kenneth R. Presley of Plymouth, and the late Dorothy Ann Myers. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Elizabeth (Downey) Presley. Funeral Services Wednesday, Jan. 5th, 2005 at 11 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham. Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Lung Assoc. of Southeastern Mass., One Abbey Lane, Middleboro, MA 02360. Interment in High Street Cemetery, Hingham.
