She was born March 16, 1929 in Bradfordton, the daughter of Herman and Leona Bounds Williams both deceased.
Mary married Gerald Boblitt in 1945 and he preceded her in death. In 1976 she married John Howarth and he preceded her in death on June 2, 2004. She was also preceded in death by one stepson, Robert Krupp, and three brothers, Ivan, Rufus, and Ronald Williams.
Mrs. Howarth was a meat cutter for several years at IGA, Kroger’s, and Avenue Food. She was an activity director for a nursing home and a hostess and cashier at Holiday Inn East. She also owned a ceramic shop and worked for the State of Illinois. She retired from Egizii Electric after 25 years.
Mary has enjoyed oil painting since 1982 and also cake decorating.
Surviving are her children, Gary , Ed , Russel ; step-children,; four grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; one brother, Randy ; three sisters, Jean , Susan ; Sandra; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
