CHINA GROVE - Seth Raymond Sutton, 18, 835 Barnhardt Road, died Friday (May 26, 2000) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born June 10, 1981, in Cabarrus County, he was the son of Christiane Corriher and Keith Raymond Sutton, China Grove. A 1999 graduate of South Rowan High School, he served on the student council and the yearbook staff. He was vice president of Raiders Against Drunk Driving and a member of Junior Civitans.

A student in electronic engineering at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, he was also an assistant manager at the American Outpost store at the Concord Mills mall.

He was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church, where he was active in the men's group and the youth group. He had achieved life rank with Boy Scout Troop No. 375 at First United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, survivors include sister Kristen Ruth Sutton and grandparents Virginia Sutton and Cecil and Eva Corriher, all of China Grove.

Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, New Hope Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Joseph Kovitch. Burial, West Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. today at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove. At other times, the family will be at the home on Barnhardt Road.
