Stephen "Steve" Shelton, Sr., 47, of Blazer Lane, Greeneville, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, at his home.
He worked at Comcast and was a small engine repairman at Lamb's.
Steve was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was well loved by those who knew him. His smile would light up a room.
Survivors include his wife: Stephanie Shelton; three children: Bridget Shelton, Stephen Shelton Jr., Jalyssa Shelton; grandchildren: Devin Cutshall, Shalyn Cutshall, Micah Pittman, Melanie Wexler, Stephen Shelton III, Stephanie Shelton; sisters and brothers-in-law: Doris and Brian Allen, Lori and Artie Irwin, Debbie and Dennis Bailey, and Angela Hensley; brothers and sisters-in-law: Mike Shelton, David and Cassidy Shelton, and Shawn and Teresa Shelton; mother-in-law and spouse: Terrie and Allen Grubbs; father-in-law: Steve Fann; two brothers-in-law: Robbie Grubbs and Zachary Grubbs; sister-in-law: Jacqueline Grubbs; special aunts and uncles: Wilda Chandler, Brenda Swatzell, and Nolan and Ruth Shelton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Otho Carroll and Dorothy Shelton.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lynn Mercer and Rev. Richard Long officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 am Tuesday in Flag Branch Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 am Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery for the graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Shelton, Randy Moore, William Parton, Mike Durbin, Paul Swatzel, and Rick Short.
