Mrs. Crockett retired from Ford Motor Company. She enjoyed bingo, travel, going to casinos and playing cards. Gwendolyn had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and was focused on her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by five children, Carlos Lee, Dwayne Crockett, Alesia Crockett, James Crockett and Deanna Crockett; four grandchildren, Ryan Carter, DeSean Porter, DeCarion Porter and Kalynce Ayler; a sister, Georgia L. (Charles) Holmes; four brothers, Fredrick Lee, Chrystal S. (D'Wanda) Lee, Richard S. Lee and David N. Hines; a brother-in-law, Leslie King; several foster children, including foster son, Brandon Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Lee and Rosetta Lee Hines Hall; four sisters, Geraldine Jones, Mary King, Rose "Muffin" Hines and Carmen Hines-Fortune.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.
