Mitchell Guy Cox, age 41, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016.
Mr. Cox was born in Loris a son of Mitchell Cox and the late Debra Ann Norris.
He was owner and operator of Cox Plumbing Co. and was an avid hunter. Mr. Cox was an officer at Olyphic Hunting Club. He was a very loving husband, wonderful father and friend to all.
Survivors, in addition to his father, are his wife, Sandra "Sandy" Rabon Cox of Loris, one son, Myles Duncan Cox of Loris, one brother, Kyle "Buddy" Cox of Loris, his father-in-law- and mother-in-law, Donald and Barbara Rabon of Clarendon, NC, two nephews, Nathan Mitchell Cox and Dallas Kyle Cox both of Loris, and one niece, Megan Brooke Cox of Loris.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 2, 2016 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel with Rev. Ross Altman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery in Tabor City, NC.
