Hilbert Kyle Campbell 88 of Fieldale, died April 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 10, 1928 in Penhook, to Hugh A. Campbell and Emogene B. Campbell. He was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Campbell.
Hilbert was a Tobacco and Cattle Farmer prior before employment at DuPont, where he retired. He then started his own business, Campbell's Golf Car Sales and Repairs. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Blackberry Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Louise Adams Campbell; son Stephen Kyle Campbell (Jennifer); step-daughter Pam Hall; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Old Center Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
