He was born August 24, 1958 in Muncie, the son of Arthur Hicks, Jr. and Peggy Jo Weaver.
Curtis was an independent truck driver for twenty-five years and member of Teamsters Local #135. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, but above all, he was so proud of his grandbaby's, he loved them so much.
Surviving are three children, Melissa Hicks of Muncie, Dustin Hicks of Muncie and Donny Seagraves (wife, Amanda) of Selma; ten grandchildren, Shanyea, Michael, Kingston, Kyzer, Faith, Bella, Elijah Blu, Marley, D.J. and Meira; one brother, David Hicks of Indianapolis; two sisters, Rhonda Gayle Hicks and Deborah Lynn Johnson (husband, Troy) and one nephew, Austin Johnson, all of Huntsville, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Danny Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2016 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel or one hour prior to services on Monday.
