June 3, 1939 - April 10, 2016
Sharon Lee Wilkinson born to Nettie (Burkholder) and Clarence Lepinsky June 3, 1939 in Canby Oregon. She had two sisters who predeceased her.
Sharon graduated from Oregon City High School. She and Larry Wilkinson married August 21, 1957. They raised two wonderful sons, Rod and Russ and beloved daughter, Renee AKA Crystal Star, who predeceased her.
A hard working, loving wife and mother with a huge heart and generosity of spirit. Ironically, that huge heart is what let her down when she suffered a massive heart attack at home the evening after celebrating her sons’ and husband’s birthdays at their favorite restaurant. Time spent with her sons were her most treasured moments. She loved the laughter and sense of humor they shared.
Sharon was an avid gardener and their yard was one of the first voted yard of the month for Canby. If you didn’t know Sharon and admire beautiful yards, you most certainly would have admired hers.
Sharon had a very physical career as a typesetter in commercial printing until a work injury forced her to leave after years of dedicated service.
Survivors include her husband, Larry, sons Rod and Russ, nieces and her many friends she treated as family.
Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Private service has been held.
