Mr. Workman died Sunday at the Veterans Affairs Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation Facility in Marion, Ill.
Mr. Workman, an Army veteran of World War II, was a retired self-employed electrician. He was, a member and former treasurer of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Daisy Hughes Workman; one son, Butch Workman of Arlington; one brother, Clint Workman of Union City, Tenn.; two grandsons, Bart Workman of South Fulton, Tenn., and David Workman of . Hickory; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by four brothers. His parents were Robert Alexander Workman and Lola Montez DeMyer Workman.
