Mr. Tommy Watson Sr. was born October 20, 1943 in Marks, Mississippi to Otis and Pinky Newmy Watson. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.Mr. Watson departed this life on April 26, 2016 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 72.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Otis and Pinky Watson, one son: Tommy Watson Jr., two brothers: James Watson and Warren Watson, and one sister: Martha Mary Watson.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Leamorica Rainey Watson of the home, four sons: Otis (Stephanie Glenn) Watson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Owen (Ramona) Watson of Newport News, Virginia, Hartzell Watson of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Maurice (Pleshette) Watson of Blytheville, Arkansas, one daughter: Anna (Elijah) Jones of Blytheville, Arkansas, four brothers: Wendell Lark and Gene Lark both of Chicago, Illinois, Ulysess Redd of Los Angeles, California, DeLove Redd of Blytheville, Arkansas, and eighteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5-7pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, Arkansas. The funeral will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:00am at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Alvin Clay officiating. The burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
