Bruce Jimmy Dotson passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2016 in Jefferson County, Tennessee at the age of 69. Bruce is survived by 4 children and 6 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his lovely wife, Patricia Ann Dotson. Bruce was born on October 18, 1946 in Jefferson County, Tennessee to Robert Dotson Sr. and Lucille Tipton. Bruce and Patricia married in 1970 and were happily married until she passed away on April 23, 1996. Bruce is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and after 20 years of service and a deployment to the Vietnam War, he retired honorably. After retirement, Bruce joined the El Paso Times and worked up the ladder until he retired in 2000 as a district manager. Since 2005, Bruce has enjoyed retirement in Jefferson County, Tennessee with his extended family. Funeral Procession to leave Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Dr., El Paso, TX 79915 at 8:50 A.M. Committal Service is scheduled for Friday, April 29, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
