BRYAN, Bruce P. Bruce P. Bryan, 77, of Old Saybrook, passed away Friday, (February 15, 2008) at home. He is survived by his loving wife of over 44 years, Dorothy (Kochanowski) Bryan and children: Bruce R. Bryan of Westbrook, Craig A. Bryan of Old Saybrook, Scott J. Bryan and his wife Kimberly of Trumbull, and Melinda Bryan of Old Saybrook. Bruce is also survived by brothers, F. Gerald Bryan of Virginia, James W. Bryan and his wife Julia of California, Edwin B. Bryan and his wife Marianne of Florida; and a sister, Mary "Diffy" Smith and her husband Freeman Smith of Madison. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Muriel (Snelgrove) Bryan and a brother, John W. Bryan Jr. Bruce was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran having served in the Korean War. Swan Funeral Home in Old Saybrook will be handling the private memorial service at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Old Saybrook Fire Department, Attn: Ed Yeager, Treasurer, 310 Main St., Old Saybrook, CT 06475; or to the Old Saybrook Police Dept., 225 Main St., Old Saybrook or to the Old Saybrook Ambulance Dept., 316 Main St., Old Saybrook.
