Clara Stratton, 76, of 1729 Robinson Ave., died Wednesday at Scioto Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Smith(sic) County, Va., she resided here about 25 years and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her husband, Max Stratton, in 1984, she is survived by a brother, Walter Brinkley of Columbus, and a sister, Mattie M. Beloat of Ashland, Ky.
A private service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Morton Funeral Home in New Boston, with the Rev. Dennis Dawes officiating, and interment in Memorial Burial Park.
Visitors may call from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
