BROWN CITY - Services for John L. Alexander, 84, of 6041 Shephard Road, were July 28 in Carman Funeral Home. Mr. William Wright, pastor of Omard United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Willard King, pastor of Peck United Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Christian memorial Cemetery, Peck. Grandsons were pallbearers.
Mr. Alexander died July 26, 1979 in Yale Community Hospital after a brief Illness.
He was born Feb. 7, 1894, In Elk Townshipp, and resided In Brown City since 1942.
He married Ellen Barber Dec. 24, 1923 in Midland.
Mr. Alexander Is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Pat (Norma) Molesworth, and two sons, Art and Jack, all of Peck; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
