Clarence married Ora Blanch (Wells) on 10 Jan 1911 in Tillamook County, Oregon and together they had two children: Elmer Clyde Heyes and Marion Iva Heyes. He then married Alberta May Pennell on 15 Oct 1924 in Multnomah County, Oregon. His last wife was Mamie Isarella Nalley on 5 Oct 1958 in Everett, Snohomish County, Washington.

Clarence Marion Heyes passed away in a Portland hospital Wednesday, Dec 28 [1965]. He had been confined to the hospital for a week.
Heyes was born May 5, 1879, in Brookfield, WA which was then a territory. His father had come around the Horn from Liverpool and was engaged in the fishing industry in Washington.
Heyes moved to Reedsport in 1923 and was engaged in the fishing industry here for 69 years. He operated the Heyes Fish Market on the Reedsport waterfront for many years. The building was only recently burned. Mr. Heyes was always active in Commercial Fishing Conservation.
Survivors include his widow Mamie Isarella Heyes, 1204 N.W. 20th Portland; son, Elmer Heyes of Portland; daughter, Marion Iva Doyle, Seattle, WA; two stepsons, Floyd and Creighton Judy, Everett, WA; two stepdaughters, Edith Gregory and Mamie Kaser, Portland.
Funeral services will be held in Portland Friday, Dec 31 at 2:30 p.m. in Finley Mortuary at S.W. 4th and Montgomery.

Services for Clarence M. (Cal) Heyes 1204 NW 20th Ave., who died Tuesday, will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Finley's Rose Chapel with private committal at Finley's Sunset Hills Memorial Park. Mr. Heyes was born May 5, 1879, in Brookfield, Wash. He opened Heyes Fish Market at the foot of SW Yamhill Street here in 1900 and in 1923 moved to Reedsport. He was a wholesale fish buyer and retired in 1963. Survivors include the widow, Mamie; a son, Elmer, Portland; daughter, Mrs. Iva Doyle, Seattle; two stepsons, Lloyd and Creighton Judy, both of Everett; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Loren Gregory, Everett, and Mrs. L. R. Kaser, Knappa; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
