LOUDON – Sheila Jane Moody, 55, of Loudon, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, March 15, 2014, after a valiant five year battle against brain cancer.

Sheila was born in Concord, Sept. 16, 1958, the daughter of Richard "Dick" Croteau and the late Lorraine (Arsenault) Croteau. She was a life-long resident of Loudon.

Sheila loved flowers of all kinds. She greatly enjoyed following Boston sports teams, camping and going to Hampton Beach, but nothing made her happier than spending time with her family and especially with her pride and joy, her grandson, Jacob Richard.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Rick Moody, with whom she shared 35 wonderful years of marriage; her son, Jason Richard of Sanbornton; her daughter, Laura Jane of Loudon; her grandson, Jacob Richard; her brother, Richard Croteau of Loudon; her sister, Karen Wlodyka of Boscawen; a very special mother-in-law, Lotte Moody of Loudon; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

An hour of gathering will be held Friday, March 21, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Cremation Society of NH, 172 King St., Boscawen.

A memorial service will follow immediately at 5 p.m. in the Cremation Society Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheila's name may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Neuro-oncology floor, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215 or online at dana-farber.org.
